I write for myself, but I make it easy for you to be a voyeur. I talk about history and pop culture, computer games, books, my cat Gus and explorations of my present and past. I also post more frequently at my tumblr.

I like generic things such as "reading", "writing" and "drawing". I also like boulevards, boobs, sunny windy days, worn-down church stairs, the french countryside and summer fruits.

I have this weird thing about Sweden.

I feel like I will only be complete when I have a bunny in my life.

Dirty Mirror

Biographies are silly!

I never clean my mirrors (and I have many).

I equate crepuscular rays with the concept of god in poetry.

I hope that if I practice drawing enough, one day I will have steady hands.

I really dislike any word containing ‘blog’ – it is such a clunky and ugly word.

I am deeply uninterested in fashion, improving my life, how-tos, babies, the present, and most people.

I am intensely interested in books, stringed instruments, animals, women, writing, history, languages, computer games and iced water with squeezed lemon and lime.

When I grow up I hope to look like Cate Blanchett, but I feel (to my sorrow) that I shall always look like a sixteen-year old.

I study things at university that make people ask “What are you doing THAT for?”  I do not know yet, but one day I will figure it out (hopefully in time to pay off my student debt.)  I do minor in Ancient Greek language and, as occasional posts to my Tumblr will attest, I am quite passionate about it.  But in the end, pretty much my only aspiration in life is to own my own home in the French countryside, have many cats and bunnies, learn how to make furniture and sew curtains, restore antiques and grow vegetables and roses.

I tend to talk about my cat Gus.  Everyone who meets him says he is the weirdest cat they have ever known.  This is not an exaggeration.
